Planned Parenthood continues to steadfastly adhere to Satan’s most sacred tradition: taking life away and introducing death. He enjoys deploying death in numerous variations, but one of his go-to cruelties is the shedding of innocent blood. This is carried on today in the form of abortion, and even more horrific, the assembly-line method of doling out fetal tissue from aborted fetuses to laboratories for research. Whether the decision comes from a perceived lack of parental readiness, economics, unplanned pregnancy, rape, incest, or trauma, killing the child is a heartless way to find healing in a complex situation. It’s about giving the child a chance, whether by raising it or putting it up for adoption. Some claim that the adoption systems are so clogged, that children would be left behind. You don’t see orphanages carrying out selective homicide to shorten their numbers, so abortion is not of the utmost necessity! That logic is completely unbiblical, and it goes against what God calls us to do as Christians. We are called to both love and care for the orphans, the destitute, and the poor.
Abortions are not mercy killings. Mercy is allowing the child to see the light beyond the womb. No matter how much brokenness and trauma a baby is born into, God can use His grace to shape the child for His glory. Abortion tells the world and the baby, “My circumstances matter more.” A culture that leaves behind God will also lose the hope that He can only provide. Satan longs for you to remain faithful to his decrees that there will never be deliverance. He has attempted to use abortion all throughout history in order to prevent the birth of a promised deliverer. In Exodus, Satan stirred up Pharaoh’s insecurities and as a result, all Hebrew male babies between a certain age cutoff were murdered. In the New Testament, he pulled a fast one on Herod and poked his pride to the point where he killed all Hebrew males between the ages 0-2. Satan is ravenous for bondage, and he will launch furious assaults in the womb to hamper God’s creation before they even reach the outside world. However, satan lost like he always does, for Moses and Jesus were born. They brought about the deliverance because that is God’s intentions for man. Abortion today, for whatever reason, is conforming to the same pattern of bondage. The parents do not want the infant to live because it’s either a reminder of their foolish decisions, reflection of their hopelessness when looking at the world, or the result of wrenching trauma that they have suffered.
Psalm 139:13 testifies to the precious nature of the birthing process. It says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” If God ordained abortion as righteous, Isaac would have never made it off the mountain. It’s true that God rewarded Abraham specifically because he was faithful even to the point of sacrificing his son born of a miraculous promise. However, keep in mind that God did not allow Isaac to be sacrificed, for He provided a ram in the thicket as a proper sacrifice. Isaac was not the proper sacrifice, because God already knew that only His own firstborn son, Jesus, would be the fleshly sacrifice that could wash away our sins. Notice under the Old Covenant that babies weren’t sacrificed as a remission for sins. If it wasn’t good then, it surely isn’t now! We are under the New Covenant purchased by Jesus’ blood, so we should respect God’s grace with even more reverence.
Demons, on the other hand, have a craving for human sacrifice and infant blood on the altar. Satanists and pagans have dark traditions of human sacrifice. Even ancient Israel’s judgment by God was due to its sacrifice of their children to the pagan gods of Moloch. One of the sins that grieves the Father the most are hands that shed innocent blood (Proverbs 6:16-19). Babies are defenseless, having no one to speak for them. Historians declared that the Holocaust would never happen again. Here we are in the 21st century, slaughtering millions in the name of pro-choice. There’s this idea that as a whole, humanity is continuing to progress in its civility and humanity. This line of thinking is soaked in Darwinism (more on that in my next post), yet the people who believe this are right about one thing: we are continuing to progress in the preservation of Satan’s art of darkness
